Anthony G Bailey

With over 25 yrs. experience playing Trumpet & Flugelhorn, Anthony G. Bailey has performed in Atlanta & all over the Southeastern United States. He joined the African American Philharmonic Orchesta (AAPO) under the direction of John T. Peek in 1997. After three years with the AAPO, he became the lead trumpeter for the orchestra. Working with this group gave him the opportunity to perform with world renowned artists such as The Temptations & The Dells. Recently, Anthony has been on stage with International Recording artist Les Nubians, & has performed (& recorded) with Anthony David. Aside from the AAPO, Anthony works with the Atlanta Community Band, The Bill Braynon Positive Energy Big Band, The West-Side Wind Ensemble, The Clayton Community Jazz Band, vocalist Claudette King (daughter of B.B. King), is one of the musical arrangers for The Atlanta Brass Connection (a New Orleans style brass band), & plays for several different groups on the "Corporate" circuit. He also co-leads the group INFINITE SOUND FAMILY, a very diverse group of musicians and vocalists that performs all styles of music. Together this group has perform in many of the music festivals around Atlanta including the Atl. Jazz Festival, The Heritage Arts Fest., & Wednesday WindDown at Centennial Olympic Park just to name a few.
