His vision was clear: Tim Quick wanted to reintroduce Jazz and its culture to a younger generation who could take it into the next era, and give Jazz Fans around the world a new way to enjoy it.
As the young manager of his father’s Supper Club, The Main Event Bar & Lounge in Los Angeles, he was given the flexibility to run things the way he desired. He was taught all aspects of running a club, and how to anticipate the needs of the audience so that they enjoyed their evening. He later dropped his managerial role to become the primary booking and entertainment promoter for The Main Event. This is where it all started
