NAPOLEONIROSATI

NapoleoniRosati is a songwriting Jazz project, with Italian lyrics, born in 2012 in Rome, from the collaboration between the singer Paola Rosati and pianist Francesco Napoleoni. Their music has a strong jazz and latin impression, with many influences of Jazz authors such as Lelio Luttazzi, Paolo Conte, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Moby, Sergio Caputo, Gregory Porter, Bruno Martino. The songs come directly from the experience of life of the duo and express a wide range of emotions; the compositions are packaged to be the fair comment to the lyrics, ranging from light-hearted and playful to introspective and melancholy. Initially they propose a duet, playing mostly in private events a repertoire of standard Jazz, while their musical ideas are taking shape, materializinng in the creation of the EP album "Aeroplanino di carta" (Paper Plane), entirely self- published on the web in 2014; at this point the duo became a quartet, including bass and drums.
