It is difficult to compare this album to any other available today, and that is a good thing because it's uncertain whether or not smooth jazz stations will embrace something so unique as saxophonist Rocky Gordon's Alone In the Crowd. The compositions definitely break stride from format. But rest assured there is an audience for this music.

Saxello-soprano saxophonist Rocky Gordon's anticipated sophomore release, Perfect World, is due out by mid-June. Gordon's debut release, Song Painting, has “done very well for us..." related Misata Entertainment's vice-president of marketing and promotions, Joe Daniels.

Daniels also stated that this new 10 song collection would provide a more intense approach by the artist as a contemporary jazz musician. “...songs with haunting melodies" added Daniels.

Misata Entertainment has made a soft announcement that their premiere jazz artist, Rocky Gordon, will have his new release, entitled Perfect World, in stores and online by late May. The release will feature 10 selections with a slight edgier approach as opposed to his 1999 debut album, Song Painting.
