Rodrigo Recabarren

Rodrigo Recabarren was born in Santiago, Chile, on October 20th, 1982, and from early on he was in touch with music. The influence of his father, a self-taught drummer, was fundamental in shaping his love for music. In the year 2001 he was accepted into the arts program at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (PUC), where he started his professional studies on classical percussion while simultaneously studying drum-set. During that period he formed part of the PUC Jazz Big Band, as well of a large number of varied percussion ensembles with whom he performed in several venues in Santiago and the rest of Chile...
