Crumblehead Records proudly presents the worldwide release of 'Faith And Works' 2009 featuring Paul Wertico on drums and Larry Gray on bass. While at the Chicago Blue Note, the Scott Earl Holman Trio opened for Maynard Ferguson, Leon Russell, Maria Muldaur, G.E Smith ('Saturday Night Live' bandleader), and many more.

He has performed with legends like Ira Sullivan, Von Freeman, Lin Halliday, Richie Cole, Larry Gray, Eric Alexander, Paul Wertico and others.

Holman is the founding father of many jazz programs in Chicago, including, Chambers, Chicago Blue Note, Frankie's Blue Room, Tony's Paisons, Delaney & Murphy's, Regina's. He was born on June 4, 1954 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received a scholarship to attend the University of Miami as a studio music and jazz major on piano, where at the same time he began to perform professionally on Miami Beach and Ft. Lauderdale on guitar and vocals. Later, he would go on to lead his own bands on piano , performing most of the major venues in the South Florida area.

During this period between 1972 and 1990 he:

• studied with pianist Wally Cirillo (who recorded with Charles Mingus and Joe Diorio )
• wrote music weekly for the children's show "Arthur and Company"
• had the house trio in "Hemmingways" (which boasted acts like Buddy Rich, Earl Fatha Hines , Lionel Hampton, Freddie Cole and many others)
• was a regular at the Jockey Club, Cricket Club, Grove Isle, Kings Bay Yacht Club, Turnberry Yacht Club, Fischer Island, Hamptons, Riverside Hotel (Las Olas blvd.)
• was the opening act for the Miami Hyatt Regency Convention Center with an extended contract, and played virtually every club in the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale area.
• played a two year engagement in 'Ensign Bitter's' in Coconut Grove, which was the hangout for many celebraties when in Miami.

In 1985 he released his first album 'Through Kathleen's Eyes'(BEKA Records ) celebrating the birth of his daughter. The music was heavily influenced by 'Weather Report'.

Shortly after that, he had the house band in the Doral Hotel on Miami Beach for two years , during which time he released his second album (BEKA records) 'Language of the Heart' which was heavily influenced by the continental and latin atmosphere of Miami Beach in the late 80's.
