Sherrie R. Bias

There are many words that can be used to describe the woman Sherrie R. Bias. Author, Television Host, Artist and occasionally Chef, the title in which she is best known for is Vocal Siren. Sherrie has a voice that many say is touched by angels. With each smoky tone the listener can hear generations of former vocalist’s influence and passion striving to express the deep thoughts of a woman with much to offer.

This young girl born in New Orleans, Louisiana would embody the essence of a music created by the melding of cultures present in a city that was port to the entire world. As expected young Sherrie learned early in life how to sing and entertain and performed her first concert in her grandmother’s living room.

As she grew so did her affection for music. Sherrie composed countless songs and found solace from everyday troubles in her music. As a teenager she could be found for hours practicing in front of her mirror envisioning a crowd of fans and counseling women on how to love themselves when she would accept her prestigious awards. This dream is not afar off for Sherrie and reaching out to charities is still a passion she holds today.

An affectionate mother of two, Sherrie embodies the woman that audiences flock to see at her concerts. She is smooth and sophisticated, sharp and sexy, creative and unforgettable. Like a screen siren of the 1940’s she is a force to be reckoned with both on screen and on-stage. While growing up Sherrie learned that she was drawn to many different genres of music. Today her fans relish in her renderings of smooth jazz and R&B with Latin and Gospel undertones. No concert that she performs mirrors another and each is jam packed with emotional songs that tug at the audience’s heart and fulfill their jazz appetite. She is the “Princess of Neo-Soul and Jazz music” and a voice that this music industry has been awaiting for quite sometime.

Regularly scheduled to perform before large audiences she does not halter at the chance of performing in intimate settings. She has been quoted as using these opportunities to bring her back to her singing roots and all jazz aficionados owe it to themselves to catch her at one of these rare events. Sherrie continues to sing across the world performing in highly publicized music festivals, special events and posh venues. Her music has been aired across seas on International television and syndicated radio broadcasts.
