Ten Years After

Ten Years After is a British blues rock band that was formed in 1966. The original lineup consisted of Alvin Lee on vocals and guitar, Leo Lyons on bass, Chick Churchill on keyboards, and Ric Lee on drums. They gained prominence during the late 1960s and early 1970s and were known for their energetic live performances and their blend of blues, rock, and jazz influences.

Ten Years After rose to international fame after their performance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969, where they delivered an electrifying set. One of their most famous songs, "I'm Going Home," was featured in the Woodstock film and showcased Alvin Lee's exceptional guitar skills.

Throughout their career, Ten Years After released several successful albums, including "Undead" (1968), "Stonedhenge" (1969), and "A Space in Time" (1971), which featured their biggest hit, "I'd Love to Change the World." The band disbanded in 1974 but reunited several times in the following decades for reunion tours and new recordings.

Tragically, Alvin Lee passed away in 2013, but Ten Years After continued performing with replacement members, including Marcus Bonfanti on vocals and guitar. Although the band's lineup has changed over the years, their music and legacy continue to be celebrated by fans of classic rock and blues.
