The Vault at Vinyl Revival hosted a concert by the very talented and
engaging Tracy Mace. Tracy sings a variety of styles, but on this night it
was very smooth jazz on the menu. Taken mostly from the "Great
American Songbook", she took us on a musical journey from the 1920's
through the 1960's.
Tracy performed tunes by legendary composers like the Gershwin
Brothers, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer and Billie Holiday. Many of these
tunes are truly timeless getting reprised generation after generation like
“God Bless The Child." It was composed and sung by Billie Holiday and
covered by numerous artists including Three Dog Night in 1969.

Tracy's voice is like silk and her delivery light and airy, she floats a song
at you. What is really fun is her quiz after each song. What year was it
composed? Who composed it? Who has performed it? We got a lot of the
questions right.
She gave the performance in a two set format.
SET 1
"Pennies From Heaven"
"Moonglow"
"Summertime”
"What A Wonderful World"
"Straighten Up And Fly Right"
"God Bless the Child"

Whether you enjoy musicals or the great song stylists like Sinatra or Nat
“King” Cole, there was something for just about everyone. Tracy performs
at house concerts, parties and corporate events. Check out her website

Another night of fun and a fine local artist at The Vault at Vinyl Revival
Record Shop and Performance Venue. Located in downtown Lansdowne,
there is plenty of parking and some nice places to eat just a stones throw
from the shop.
