Wim Dijkgraaf

Wim is concidered one of the leading jazz harmonica players on this planet.

Born 4-10-1970 in The Netherlands, Wim played organ, clarinet and slide- trombone when just a kid.

Later he studied Composition, Contemporary Music at the conservatory of Tilburg, NL, with the Rumanian composer Alexandru Hrisanide. At this stage he also immersed himself in the world of jazz harmonica intensively; a trip that lasted for seven years. After four sabbatical years he picked up the thread again in 2002. He is active in both Europe and Brasil as a contemporary composer and harmonica player in various formations. In 2008 he moved to the state Ceará in Brasil but conciders himself more a world sitizen.
