Ale started playing piano at the age of 6, and when he was 13 switched to guitar. He studied in argentina with Maria Concepcion Patron, Pino Marrone, Marcelo Mayor and Walter Malosetti. After being awarded with two scholarships at Berklee College of Music (at the age of 22), a few years later he came back to his native Buenos Aires (Argentina). In the states he Studied with: Charlie Banacos, Pat Martino, Hal Crook, Mike Goodrick, Ed Tomassi, George Russell, George Garzone, Jeff Friedman, Greg Hopkins, etc) In 2001, He returned to the states and he was awarded by New England Conservatory with the NEC Merit Award and the Best Scholarship.
