Alex Jønsson (Alex Jonsson)

Alex Jønsson (born in Denmark in 1985) is a guitarist, composer and improvisor in a number of different bands, including his own trio “Spy On Your Friends” - now releasing its self titled album - and the singer Live Foyn Friis' acclaimed post-pop group. In recent years, he has experimented with sound and improvisation in constellations challenging the common frameworks of a band. He has written compositions for nonet, composed a piece for guitar and dance and improvised with the renowned master chef Wassim Hallal. In 2013 Alex Jønsson graduated from the The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus where he had studied the prestigeous, international master programme, Nomazz (Nordic Master of Jazz)
