Alyssa Allgood

Alyssa Allgood is an exciting new voice in vocal jazz, offering a unique interpretation of the repertoire with vocal improvisation and arranging. This past spring she was awarded the Best Collegiate Vocal Jazz Soloist of 2014 in DownBeat Magazine's Student Music Awards. This fall she was named one of the top 40 semifinalists of the 2014 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition.

Alyssa recently released her debut EP recording, entitled “Lady Bird”. This five- song album features her original writing, arranging, lyrics and improvising. It can be purchased through all major online distribution sites.
