Emilia Vancini and Augusto Pirodda, have been collaborating for over a decade. This time they decided to meet in the studio to play the jazz standards that they both know and love, with the idea of making music in the moment. While recording, they discovered the fun of not programming or arranging the songs beforehand, but of letting their intuition go instead. It was necessary to surrender to the possibility of making mistakes. The results were completely unexpected to the musicians themselves. This collection of jazz standards is an expression of joy, irony, sadness, madness, love and friendship through all dynamic ranges, from quiet to loud.
