Andrew Wood

BIO

Born in 1991, Andrew is quickly building a reputation as a musical and in demand drummer based in the East Midlands. Operating from Nottingham, Andrew works with some of the best artists in the Midlands region, and those further afield.

Andrew has recently performed with: Tony Kofi, Dave O'Higgins, Julian Siegel & Allen Vizzuti.

Having studied at Leeds College of Music, with mentors including Peter Fairclough, Dave Walsh and Jamil Sheriff, Andrew holds a BA in jazz performance.

Looking at ways for the drummer to take a more musical role in live performance, 'learning the song', understanding the role of the drummer in different musical styles.
