Anna Rejda ________________________________________ Anna Rejda sings jazz repertoire varying from Ella Fitzgerald's songs to exclusively instrumental compositions by Wayne Shorter and Ornette Coleman. She is fascinated specifically by weaving her own improvisations into well known themes, employing the vocal scat technique. She draws most of her inspiration from, among numerous vocal masters, the improvisational potential of Ella Fitzgerald,Shirley Horn's sense of musical interpretation, Diane Reeves's expression or Bobby McFerrin's renditional felicity and sense of humour. Anna studied horn at the Wrocław Academy of Music and the history of art at Wrocław University
