Arnoud Gerritse

Date of birth: 6-2-1957 The Hague, The Netherlands Studied classical percussion at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, and later jazzdrums at the Rotterdams Conservatory.

Started playing professionally in 1977, and played in a lot of jazz groups, from trio’s up to big orchestras: VARA Dans Orkest (82-87), John Claytons Tribute Big Band (80-90), Rob van Kreeveld Trio (80-95), and the bands mentioned below.

He is teaching drums at the Maastricht Conservatory (The Netherlands) since 1989, and at the Conservatory of Gent (Belgium) since 1995.
