Bill Wimmer has been playing professionally for 35 years in the Midwest and Colorado. He has performed with Jack Lesberg, Norman Hedman, Bobby Watson, Claudio Roditi, Roger Byam, Misha Tsiganov, Tony Monaco and Jimmy Bruno over the years. Having formed a musical partnership with Tony Gulizia many years ago, he and Tony have have a deep respect and love for the music and are dedicated to it. In 2008, Bill and Tony gathered some former and current Omahans, including the phenominal Dave Stryker on Guitar and The Master, Victor Lewis on drums, along with Tony's brother Joey on Percussion and Mark Luebbe on bass for Project Omaha. A live date recorded at Kelly Liken in Vail, it captures Bill, Tony, Dave, Victor and the rest in fine fashion. Bill lives in Nebraska with his wife, two kids and Shadow, The Wonder Dog.
