BrandonLee Cierley

BrandonLee Cierley is a saxophonist/composer in the South Puget Sound area, along with being the founder of the known group called 322 that has been together for 5 years before embarking on his new journey in Portland, OR. BrandonLee Cierley took classical lessons from Fred Winkler and Eric Steighner and then ventured to pursue jazz further with professional saxophonist Tracy Knoop. BrandonLee has also been recently been taking lessons with Braxton Cook, up and coming jazz saxophonist based out of the New York area. Both teachers have been able to provide both spectrums of jazz music that influences BrandonLee’s playing. BrandonLee has played at various jazz venues around Seatlle & his new home in Portland which include; The Royal Room, The Triple Door’s Musicquarium, KNKX Live Studio Sessions, Jack London Revue, Vermillion, The 1905 & Holocene to name a few. He has also participated in music festivals such as; Tacoma’s First Annual Jazz Walk, NW Folklife, Paradiso 2018 & recently played in the horn section for world reknowned Saxophonist Mike Phillips as a part of Portland's Juneteenth Celebration Festival.

 

BrandonLee Cierley graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2016 with degrees in Exercise Science and a music minor. BrandonLee also spends time as a ACE Certified Personal Trainer.

BrandonLee has released a plethora of music ranging from modern jazz to lofi/hip hop working with collaborators such as; Floridian EyeLoveBrandon, Portland based Producer Hunter Love, Vancouver Canada based keys player & producer Jonny Tobin as well as Portland artist & head of Lofijazzsoul Farnell Newton.

BrandonLee during the pandemic, released his debut album "Here Comes a New Challenger" which fused elements from his favorite genres, hip-hop & jazz, and collaborated with musicians from Seattle, Portland & Vancouver, Canada. "Falling Sky" from his debut record received a place on KMHD's Best Singles of 2020. BrandonLee received an album write up from KNKX & KMHD for this particular record. 
 

BrandonLee's recent releases include an EP entitled "Thank You for Waiting" featuring Braxton Cook which received a spot on Spotify's Editorial Playlist "All New Jazz" as well as another write up from writer Abe Beeson about the EP. BrandonLee released "Multnomah", single off his upcoming sophomore record, "Camaraderie", through the Lofijazzsoul label and earned another placement on Spotify's Editorial Playlist "All New Jazz" amongst others.

BrandonLee is set to release "Camaraderie" on all streaming platforms October 7th through the Lofijazzsoul label
