Brent A. Bowman has been a music educator for 38 years and performing artist for 50 years. At Berklee he played with Al Di Meola, Tiger Okoshi, Mick Goodrick, Abraham Laboriel, Oliver Nelson II, Steve Swallow, Jeff Stout, & Wayne Naus. He has performed with Candy Johnson, Gerry Beaudoin, Sonny Kenner, Carmel Jones, The Alvin Ailey Dancers, City in Motion Dance, KC Contemporary Dance, Chris DeMarco, Mark Southerland, Bill McKemy, Jeff Harshberger, E.E. Pointer, Greg Field, Don McCarter, Allan McGinty, Michael LaGrega, Don Rolling, Ryan Jones, Kristina Ning, George Boje, Issaku Yamaashi, & Grant Harse. He has toured with Tiny Tim, George Goebel, Frank Fontaine, The Inkspots, George Jessel, and Frank Gorshin. He has performed with the Barnum and Bailey Circus Al Pearson Band, Dave Haas Orchestra, Abel Rameriez Band, New Vintage Band, Vince Bilardo Band, KC Kix Band, St. Joseph (MO) Orchestra and Lawrence (KS) City Band. He also shared the stage with The Carpenters, Bob Hope, The Temptations, The Four Tops. The O’Jays, Captain and Tennille, KC and the Sunshine Band and The Ohio Players. He was the leader of the European U.S.O. touring group “Montage”. He was a founding member of the Southeastern Ohio Symphony and co-founded the Topeka All-City String Festival and Red Bridge Arts Festival.
