Brian Kettle

Most of my gigs at the beginning of my career in Luton, England were in blues bands & rock outfits that had many good musicians. I then went on to work with Mick Abrams of Jethro Tull, Barry Ryan & Paul Young.

Joining the Guards Band in '77 London England,I was involved with full Military band, which meant working on tymps & tuned percussion as well as drums. While I was there I was involved in the orchestra, dance band & Military band- & also had many gigs outside of the band, in & around London.

From this experience I developed my sight reading, & have, in recent years, played in the orchestras on ships-requiring reading click track.

Funk bands, jazz trios, Big bands, brass bands, rock bands, blues bands, orchestras are some of the fields of music I have worked in.

I am currently involved in a jazz trio project which has a residency in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk England. A 10 piece big band & a 5 piece groove project.

Artists include Dick Heckstall Smith-John Etheridge-Lol Coxhill-Gregg Wright (Michael Jackson)-Gary Moore
