All his compositions complement each other, thats why its highly recomendable to hear it without interruptions till the end.Like the experience of reading the Metamorphosis of Kafka ...the strange jazz world of surreal sounds and images will then be more intensily enjoyed. Bruno Macher (1975), is a Peruvian born jazz saxophonist and multi- instrumentalist, he composes all his songs and has a style that has absorbed the influences of hard bop, avant garde, free jazz, classical, concrete and experimental music. Charles Ives, John Cage, Olivier Messiaen, Albert Ayler, Ornette Coleman, Monk, SunRa are his prefered musicians. In this, his second CD, Bruno Macher convocates different energies, all the saxs he plays draw in the melody the sensation of an agonic sun or the transit of light into darkness. His jazz, mixes the echoes of processions and marchs, the funereal ones of New Orleans and the religious ones of Peruvian popular Andean culture. Latter, Bruno continues his music developing an obscure compositive atmosphere where percussion rythms come and go and his spiritual jazz expands with the vibrant sound of seeds (working well as referents of sanation and shamanism) liberating his solitary free jazz sax in a new world of sounds...
