Album Description

Second album with my Brazilian Project. "Bird in Space" was released in 2012. First meeting with Brazilian music in Copenhagen in the late seventies when legendary Boa Nova came to Copenhagen from a stay in Paris. I played quite a lot with drummer Chuim and pianist Mozar Terra and started to get a little familiar with the musical language; in the eighties I became a member of drummer/composer Nenê's Sextet, toured in Denmark and France. In 2010 the occasion to make a new project around my compostions of brazilian inspiration became possible at the Museu Da Pampulha in Belo Horizonte (BR), organized by Veredas Producoes; since we have recorded and played in Denmark and Brazil (Savassi Festival, Jazz Nos Fundos, Jazz B.).
