Carl Maguire

Carl Maguire (Drums) is a 18-year-old identical twin jazz musician. Carl was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1996 and raised in Hong Kong (1999-2011) and now studying music in USA. Together with his twin brother Alan, he came across soul, funk, rock, R&B and jazz at The Stax Music Academy in Memphis, Tennessee where they discovered a passion with Jazz music. In 2013, he accomplished a successful tour in Japan and Hong Kong and as a result created their first jazz CD of 'The Sound of Music' produced by Donald Brown. He has been studying with Donald Brown since 2013 and he is now studying jazz with him at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville since the fall of 2014.
