From a very young age Clivia revealed her talent for music, especially as a singer. At the age of 8 she began to perform as a soloist in the Parish Choir, in the small Salento town in Southern, Italy where she grew up.

Her love for music is always strong and leads her to a tiring and intimately significant journey, during which, the meeting with her current husband, world renowned drummer Dave Weckl, determines her decision to resume singing.

It wasn't so much about “Learning How to Fly," as the opening track has it, as it was apparent that Clivia Tanisi still knew how to navigate in space. Tanisi took a twenty-year sabbatical to be a mom and raise her children. Singing proved to be like riding a bike, as she grooved into her lane, and fell in time with the other bikers.
