Colt Hutchinson is a fresh young tenor saxophonist, educator, and composer arranger based out of Ohio. He has a deep passion for creating original music that is connective and engages audiences from all walks of life. Colt is a third year jazz studies major at Youngstown State University where he studies under jazz greats such as Dr. Kent Engelhardt, Dr. Dave Morgan, and Mr. Dave Kana. In addition to his jazz studies, he has spent two years studying classical saxophone under renowned performer and educator Dr. James Umble. Colt has performed on masterclasses with jazz greats such as Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Sean Jones, Ralph Lalama and James Weidman. Colt can regularly be found performing in North East Ohio around the Youngstown, Akron and Cleveland areas.
