Connie Marotta

Imagesong is the name Connie Marotta chose to promote her original songs. With the help of some world-class professionals, including arranger and bassist Jon Burr, jazz vocalist Alexis Cole, saxophonist and woodwind doubler Marc Phaneuf, cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf, and pianist Mike Eckroth, the music of Imagesong is now available through music streaming services in the U.S. and around the world.

A professional writer, Connie worked for several major corporations in New York, New England, and California; She taught courses in poetry, writing, and literature in colleges and universities throughout New York. She continues to work as a songwriter and poet both in New York and California. Two of her books of poetry, “Lumination” and “Sonnets to Love” are available on Amazon.com.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
