"An absolute delight was Dan Sawyer, a very musical guy with the sounds and the moves to supercharge the quintet. His educated fingers were in constant motion with split-second decisions of fingerboard positions and fluid movements that made his enviable playing ability appear easy, when it was anything but that! He celebrated every song with body language showing enjoyment of each note played." Harvey Barkan, Jazz Notes, March 2014
