Dario Chiazzolino

Dario Chiazzolino (born February 8, 1985) is an Italian jazz guitarist and composer. In addition to leading his own group, Chiazzolino is a member of Principles Sound and Andy Sheppard Quartet. He also has a duo project with Nico Di Battista. Dario Chiazzolino has played with such renowned artists as Billy Cobham, Bob Mintzer, Dominique Di Piazza, Taylor Eigsti, Willie Jones III, Concha Buika, Russell Ferrante, Horacio “el negro” Hernandez, Fred Hersch, Dave Liebman, and Antonio Faraò, among others.

A child prodigy, Chiazzolino started performing professionally at age 14. He won the Berklee Umbria Jazz Award as best guitarist, received several nominations for important Italian music references like Guitarlist (Best Guitarist), D-Mag (Artist of the year), Italian Jazz (Best Guitarist).
