In 2013, a lot of confusion was caused by the release of the album titled No Fusion of Fusion Generation Project quartet, combining fascination with jazz of the 1980s with fresh inventiveness of the musicians creating this project. The album you have in front of you was recorded by two instrumentalists forming the basis of this line-up: the excellent pianist Dariusz Petera and the multi-talented cellist Krzysztof Lenczowski, together with musicians originating from the present top Polish jazz elite (Emil Miszk - trumpet, Maciej Kociński – tenor saxophone, Andrzej Święs- double bass and Krzysztof Szmańda - drums ).
Petera Sextet is a new chapter in the output of Dariusz Petera debuting on this album as a leader, a pianist who has been consistently building his name on the national jazz scene for several years
