David Ecker

David Ecker is a jazz pianist and composer based in the New York area. He released his debut album, Songs from the Other Day, in 2020, and his upcoming album, “Respite (Despite),” is coming in March of 2023.

“Respite (Despite)” features veteran NYC musicians Curtis Nowosad (Braxton Cook, Marc Cary) and Barry Stephenson (Jon Batiste, Nicolas Payton) and was recorded remotely during the height of lockdown. The latest single, “Overcast” was released on January 11th.

David lives in Glen Rock, NJ with his wife, Grace, and his dog, Honey - who doubles as his business manager.
