Willing to teach
One of the greatest joys in music is to share in the excitement and fulfillment that it brings to us. Music
truly is the "universal language."
Deborah Winters views teaching as a unique type of performance and considers it a great privilege to
share her singing expertise, experience and life skills with her students. Her work begins with a
discovery phase that encourages each student to open up and reveal their inner "fantasy," the vision of
their dream to sing, and then to reinforce that with the knowledge and skills to produce meaningful
sound from that deep place. Deborah creates a safe environment in which each student can release any
preexisting inhibitions and develop complete trust in their own learning and growing process. Through
this experience, her students are able to cultivate their own style, identity and sound and access the
skills they need to fulfill their dreams.
