Denise Brigham Denise Brigham

Wherever she performs she brings down the house! The most often heard expression is “how does such a big voice come out of such a tiny person?” Indeed her 5'3” stature hides a voice that rivals the best in professional entertainment anywhere, and her new album HOTEL LAFAYETTE is proof of that. Backed by a 70 piece all professional orchestra Denise makes full use of her wide vocal range and unique styling to light up the electrifying new arrangements written and produced by Carey Deadman.

Denise studied under Chicago's top voice coach Randy Buescher and has performed with area big bands and orchestras. For several years she had her own highly acclaimed nightclub show before turning her efforts to recording, and has been a frequent special guest singer with many other well known Chicago entertainers including Victor Pacini, Vic Flanagan, Jerry Hendrix of the Drifters, and the legendary Milt Trenier.

For the last year Denise has concentrated on the production of HOTEL LAFAYETTE, which actually took over a year to make and at a cost of six figures. Currently she is doing promotional work and interviews and will start doing concerts at Midwest performing arts theaters later in the summer. Outside of recording her favorite thing in life is performing, and her new show will make full use of her amazing talents. Her band is led by her producer/arranger Carey Deadman, and her staging is by Continental Entertainment

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
