Anderson Quevedo Farias

Anderson Quevedo Bachelor's degree, in 2007, in popular saxophone by the Santa Marcelina Music Faculty. Studied saxophone under the guidance of maestro Roberto Sion, and saxophonist Vitor Alcântara, participated in dance bands like S.O.S. (Sensacional Orchestra Sonora - 2006), Maestro Brasil - 2009, SP3 (2010-2013), participated in the show “90 years of Cartola” with Elton de Medeiros, Márcia and Theo de Barros - 2009/2010, with Nei Lopes - 2010, participated in the project Pixinguinha tour Centro-Oeste / Norte do Brasil with the instrumental group Armazém Abaporu - 2005, with the same group performed in Europe (France - 2005) and Argentina (La Plata - 2007). He participated in the Tom Jobim Youth Orchestra (2009/2010), was part of the Symphonic Jazz Band of Diadema (2009-2013), with which he participated in the International Jazz Festival of Montreux (Switzerland) in 2011. In 2010 he released his first solo album, without support from independent labels, Anderson Quevedo Quartet “Passeio”. With his authorial work, he performs in jazz houses such as Jazz in the Funds / CCMI and participated in music festivals; 1st Mar del Plata Jazz Festival in Argentina (2010) and the Expresso Jazz in São Paulo (2012). In 2013, he opened his own cultural production and management company, Gouveia & Quevedo Eventos. As a producer, he develops and carries out projects for the SESC network in São Paulo, cultural notices and national festivals. In 2014 he participates in the show “Quem é Quem” by João Donato, playing in several SESC units and in festivals such as MIMO (2014) and ROCK in RIO (2015). In 2017 he participates in the European tour of the band Bixiga 70, playing in the biggest music festivals in the world such as WOMAD (England), Jazz a Vienne (France), Festival Music of the World Sines (Portugal), La Mar de Música (Spain), Ariano Folk Festival (Italy), Helden in the Park (Belgium), Wassermusik (Germany) and Sziget (Hungary), again participate in the ROCK in RIO festival now accompanying Rael with the participation of Elza Soares. He recorded on the albums: “Axial” (2003), Fábio Barros and Grupo Grão “Circo de Pulgas”, the first solo album by drummer Sérgio Gomes (2005), Armazém Abaporu “Pedra Grande” (2006), Tó Brandileone (2007), Gafieira São Paulo (2008), Projeto Meretrio (2009), Big Band da Santa (2010), Guga Stroeter & HB Orchestra “Emotions Baratas” (2010), Coisa Fina Project “Homage to Maestro Moacir Santos” (2010), Tulipa Ruiz "Ephemeral" (2010), Garotas Suecas “Escaldante Banda” (2010), Criolo “Nó na Orelha” (2011), Banda Urbana (2012), Swedish Girls “Feras Mítica” (2013), The Spectacular Charanga do França “Ataca Novamente” ( 2013), Thiago França “Malagueta, Perus e bacanaço” (2013), Batuntã (2014), Bixiga 70 “III” (2014), Space Charanga (2014), Gabriel Nascimbeni “Cidade dos Pescadores” (2014), VRUUMM (2015 ), Caê “A Nave de Odé” (2016), João Donato “Donato Elétrico” (2016), Lourenço Rebetez “O Corpo de Dentro” (2016), The Spectacular Charanga do França “The Last Carnival of our lives” (2016 ) - “Chão Molhado da Roça” (2017) - “Bomba, Sweat and Bapho” (2017), Banda LaMota “Con.Vida” (2017).
