Andre Dale

Andre' Dale is a gifted guitarist/vocalist/writer who has been an integral part of the Detroit music scene since the late 80's playing and touring with reggae/rock group Onxyz. Andre' is a Cass Tech alumnus where he played in the jazz band alongside some of the greatest musical talent we have today. Andre plays guitar at The New Bethel Baptist Church and appears in a book by Jason Miccolo Johnson entitled "Soul Sanctuary" which is the first illustrated gift book to capture the musical and spiritual dimension of the black church. Andre also lent his guitar skills to a single called "I adore you" on an upcoming Aretha Franklin album and has released his own smooth jazz album titled "A First" which is a collection of jazz guitar styled songs as well as a holiday CD. Andre' recorded the tracks for "A First" while in a hotel that he was staying in after his house caught fire on Good Friday 2005, he had moved his music and recording equipment along with him and he did not start out to record an album, he was just blowing off some musical energy and it just escalated. Now in contrast, The A First CD has now caught fire and public demand in high worldwide. Andre' also sings and was a vocalist in the choir that backed Aaron Neville, Aretha Franklin & Dr. John on the National Anthem at the 2006 NFL Superbowl and again with The Queen of Soul singing America The Beautiful at Wrestlemania 2007. Andre's band is called Love Jones and performs wherever the wind blows.
