Aron Koos-Hutas is a Hungarian trumpet player, producer, songwriter.

He began dealing with music at a young age and performed in various musical venues throughout his childhood. At the beginning he was inspired by Maurice Andre and chose the trumpet as his instrument. Now his trumpet playing is primarily inspired by the listening experiences of Clifford Brown, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Michael Jackson and the Earth, Wind and Fire.

Aron received classical trumpet education at the Lajtha László Musical School from 1991 and at the Weiner Leo Classical Music Highschool from 1997. And then in 2001 he started to study jazz trumpet at Kőbánya Music Studio. Aron graduated at the jazz-trumpet department of Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2008 in Hungary, where, amongst others, he was the disciple of Kornél Fekete-Kovács.

He is the solo trumpetplayer of the Budapest Jazz Orchestra and also plays jazz with Balazs Jozsef Quintet. He has a complex personality, so he is present at several musical genres besides the jazz. We can know about him that he fulfils his Balkan folk music interest in the band called Guca Partyzans Brass Band, which plays authentic Balkan brass music. Furthermore we can see him on the underground music stages playing in bands, like Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra. Among the various musical trends (reggae, pop, salsa, jazz, Balkan folk music...), besides jazz his connection with Balkan music excels that can also be discovered in his improvisational style during his cooperation with Djabe.

In 2008 he won the National Tomsits Rudolf Jazz Trumpet Talent Scout Championship.

He is regarded as one of the most talented and recorded trumpet players of his generation, having appeared on over 50 recordings as a sideman.

He performed at the Palace of Arts at many times and at several Hungarian jazz festivals like Debrecen Jazz Days, Sziget, VOLT, BalatonSound, Hegyalja, EFOTT, etc and national jazz festivals as Haage Jazz Festival, Casablanca Jazz Festival, Graz Summer Jazz Festival, Nisville Jazz Festival, Garana Jazz Festival, Novi Sad Jazz Festival.

He has performed with more well-known musicians, including Brian Culbertson, Tony Lakatos, Erik Truffazz, Tommy Víg, Gerard Presencer, Elemer Balazs, Tim Ries (The Rolling Stones), Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, John Nugent ( Artistic Director of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival), Steve Hackett (Genesis) and many others

A young trumpeter, Aron Koos-Hutas released his debut album with a special trumpet sound and a unique story.

The songs of Aron Koos-Hutas’ brand new debut album are spiced with unique electronic unearthly sound which makes his music more special. Besides this specific sound he and his band create and use own world and story to gain the audience’s affection. On the E.T. Project album professional musicians play who can be present internationally with their professional calling, their openness and their perfectionist attitude in the immediate future.

A young trumpeter, Aron Koos-Hutas released his debut album with a special trumpet sound and a unique story.

The founder of this project is the young jazz trumpet player Aron Koos-Hutas who can be known by music lovers from different bands and can be seen on bigger and smaller, Hungarian and international stages. He is regarded as one of the most talented and recorded trumpet players of his generation. In 2008 he won the National Tomsits Rudolf Jazz Trumpet Talent Scout Championship. He plays jazz with the Budapest Jazz Orchestra and with more other fantastic Hungarian jazz bands. Due to his complex and open personality he is present at several music genres besides jazz, including soul, R’n’B and Balkan music. Furthermore that’s why we can see him on the underground music stages playing in bands.

During the last few years he has performed with more well-known national and international musicians, like Brian Culbertson, Tony Lakatos, Erik Truffaz, Tommy Víg, Gerard Presencer, Elemer Balazs, Tim Ries (The Rolling Stones), Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, John Nugent ( Artistic Director of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival), Steve Hackett (Genesis) and many others. In 2014 the Italian jazz trumpeter Paolo Fresu invited Aron to be participated in an international commemoration and represents Hungary.

His presence in different music styles demonstrates his open personality but the sound, which is really close to his heart and in which he can be fulfilled musically, can be found on his newly released E.T. Project album. The members of his band were selected carefully, so it consists of professional musicians: Mirko Milan Milosevits on keyboards (and co-author as well), Gergely Kolta on bass, Zoltan Zana on saxophone and ewi, Gabor Olah on drums, and vocal, rap by Zeek. Furthermore in one song of this album the audience can listen to the famous and wonderful Sena's voice as well. As mentioned previously the songs tell a special story and a narrator Olga Farkas helps to understand clearly the connections on this album.

He and his band hope to reach more and more people all around the world soon and they can share their own story through their special music with everyone in the universe.
