"The stories [Brian] tells through [his] complex (and yet, uncluttered)
arrangements are both poignant and beautiful, powerful and delicate. The sheer
scale of the material [he is] covering, with deep grooves, killer improvisations, all
the while spinning an orchestra on a grand scale! Throughout, the music has a
bounce to it, even when hitting such heights of emotion." -Madi Das
