Dave Edwards

Dave Edwards has performed in a variety of venues from NYC’s CBGB's and Rockwood Music Halls to Birdland and Lincoln Center, from cruise ships to the White House and the U.N.

Dave has performed or recorded with some of the world’s finest musicians, including the American Boychoir, Smithsonian Chamber Players in Washington DC, jazz flutist Ali Ryerson, jazz singers Vivian Lord, Alexis Cole, & Roseanna Vitro. Jazz bassists and composers Rufus Reid and John Patitucci, jazz saxophonists Todd Williams, Ed Palermo, & Donny McCaslin, guitarists Oz Noy and Mike Stern, jazz violinist John Blake, Randy Brecker, and The String Trio of New York.

Disco and Roots Gospel artist Gloria Gaynor, The Ed Palermo (Frank Zappa) Big Band in NYC, songwriter/performer and/producer Bethany Joy Lenz, and Nick Jonas.

Christian artists Kathy Troccoli, Gary Chapman, & Wayne Watson.

Dave's drumming and/or bass playing is on a handful of sample packs for Big Fish Audio's Funk and Soul libraries and Vintage Big Band libraries, The Loops Project, Vegas libraries, and other music for film and tv.

Dave has been a featured worship leader for events hosting pastors John Ortberg, Luis Palau, Tim Keller, Rick Warren, N.T. Wright, Francis Chan, and John Piper. Dave has also written, arranged, and recorded music for tv. For over 20 years, Dave's main effort has been serving in his local church congregation as a worship & arts leader and enjoying his family at home. Over this time, he has equipped well over 120 musicians and technical artists in the pursuit of spiritually building up the church through worship arts and music ministry.
