It wasn't the very latest music that the five gentlemen played at Fattoria Musica. But they pulled out all the stops, playing like there was no tomorrow. Music as it might have spilled out onto the streets of New York from the jazz clubs of the forties and fifties: fast, virtuosic, soulful.

Ferdinand Povel gives the group not just its name, but also an unmistakable charm and personality. The fantastic Ferdinand Povel plays a relaxed tenor saxophone, but at the same time injects the terrific agility and excitement of Bebop into his music.
