Jazz trumpeter Adam Meckler and his quintet are set to release their first full-length album. Since relocating to Minneapolis in 2008, Meckler — who hails from Chicago and studied at Lawrence University — has quickly established himself as a bright star in the Twin Cities jazz scene. Adam Meckler Releases Debut Album

After an unexpected end to his father's life, Meckler began making plans to record an album in his memory.

Teaming up with some of the Twin Cities' most prominent small group jazz musicians, Meckler brings us a mix of rock infused modern jazz music influenced by a wide range of artists including Dave Douglas and Happy Apple.
