George Rose

Band was originally formed in 1983 and played mostly classic swing tunes.Since has evolved through various stages including pop, R&B and Big Band Jazz. Have accumulated a large library of tunes, (many custom arranged) and can cope with almost any type of engagement.Strong vocals both male and female including styles of Norah Jones, Joe Williams, Blues Brothers, Louis Prima, James Brown, Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Etta James and many others. Currently working on new CD of original tunes by George Rose plus a bonus feature of Rhapsody In Blue which closely emulates the original as played by Gershwin with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra.Concert pianist Deborah Wellbanks is the featured soloist.Band plays throuhout southern Ontario,with its main concentration on the London,Kitchener, Hamilton and Toronto areas.
