GINA ROCHÉ BIO (vocalist/guitarist/songwriter):
GINA ROCHÉ, known for her captivating live performances, imbues a Brazilian flavor into her unique blend of jazz, blues and original compositions. Gina has toured Wales, England, Japan, the U.S., the Grand Cayman Islands, and Aruba, singing in different languages with musicians from Brazil, Africa, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Britain. She has performed on Good Morning America and Late Night with Conan O’Brien and alongside renowned artists such as McCoy Tyner and Gerald Veasley. Gina’s debut CD, "Dawning of a New Way,”(Dreambox Media) continues to receive rave reviews. Gina’s most recent release and second CD of original compositions “THANKFULLY” (Independent) is available on iTunes, Amazon and CDbaby.com.

Long Bio: Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. to parents of Spanish and Irish descent 2011-2016 -Release of second CD THANKFULLY (independent), a compilation of original compositions featuring musicians: Ricardo Vogt-guitar, Nilson Matta-acoustic bass, Randy Porter, Allison Miller-drums, Tim Lekan-acoustic bass, Keith Hollis-drums. 2001- 2007 - “Dawning of a New Way” CD released - with Romero Lubambo -guitar, Jim Ridl -piano, Allison Miller -drums, Chico Huff -bass, Tim Lekan -acoustic bass. The CD features original tunes and jazz standards -Philadelphia Kimmel Center concert honoring Ambassador Walter Annenberg, Gina performed her original composition “Tender Time of Year” with symphony orchestra -The Gina Roché Quartet opened for McCoy Tyner at Kennedy Plaza for the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts -Perform as guest artist in concert and broadcast live on WRTI with Gerald Veasley and his Electric Mingus Project at Wiggins Park in Camden, June 2004 -Gina Roché Quartet" Jazz at the Point Festival -Late Night with Conan O’Brien performance with Shawn King -Dante Hall Concert with Jim Ridl, Stan Slotter, Tim Lekan, Massimo DeAngelis 2008- 2009 -International Night at Kennedy Plaza in Atlantic City - Gina Roché Quintet featuring Tony Miceli-vibes -Dante Hall Concert with Jim Ridl, Chico Huff, Erik Johnson -Good Morning America “live” concert with Donny and Marie Osmond. - Gina Roché Quartet "Jazz at the Point Festival"with Nilson Matta-acoustic bass, Randy Porter-piano, Tony Miceli-vibes and Keith Hollis-drums 1996 - 2000 -Wrote lyric and recorded on the Tim Lekan CD "PM." “Gina Roche’ is what makes the listener sit up and take notice” -Jazz News -For the year of 1997, a member of the all female Latina group "Ellas" Afro-Cuban, merengue, salsa and Latin jazz, performing in clubs, the Latin American Festival and outdoor festivals for the Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia.
