Guitares Cinématiques is a solo band featuring the guitarist, Nicolas.

In college Nicolas double majored in physics and classical guitar while minoring in foreign languages. Nicolas studied privately with guitarists Ralph Towner and Steve Cardenas. Other musical influences include guitarists Pat Metheny, Egberto Gismonti, João Gilberto, Baden Powell, trumpet player Chet Baker, the bands Yes and Weather Report, and classical composers Kodaly, Bartok, and his favorite composer, Chopin.
