The Reid Hoyson Project consists of two groups, each of which showcases the insuperable talents of saxophonist Keith Bishop who plays tenor with a close-knit quintet, alto with the more spacious octet. Natural Gifts, from Pittsburgh-based drummer/producer Reid Hoyson, offers eleven selections that deliver a very enjoyable jazz experience. The performers all emanate from Pittsburgh and the entire group shines.
