1994: Josef moves to NYC from Moscow and starts performing with various rock-bands in major NY clubs (Lions Dan, Bitter End, Terra Blues, Elbow room, Wet Lands) 1996 - 1997: classical guitar lessons at Bridge Caldro Music School 1997 - 2001: jazz guitar and improvisation technique studies in AIG (American Institute of Guitar)with Peter Mazza 1998-2003: plays jazz in best NYC clubs (Blue Note, Smalls, Village Bistro, Knitting factory). Starts teaching music and prepares students for entering Berkley, Manhattan school of music etc. Works as a session musician in various NYC studios. 2003: moves to Chicago. Starts teaching at Old Town School of folk music (guitar technique, jazz, exotic scales). Performs at Chicago clubs, collaborates with top Chicago musicians in various projects. 2006: moves to Moscow. Records "Sundown on Santorini" album (coming July 2008). Tours North America, Europe and Israel performing original music (world beat) 2006:
