Lukas Gabric
In 2018, Gabric received the Bruno Gironcoli Award as well as the Cultural Distinction Award (Kulturehrenzeichen) of his hometown Villach. His musicological writings include publications in German and English.
Gabric is the initiator and organizer of the annual Carinthian International Jazz Award and recently recorded an album with string quartet and jazz rhythm section which will appear by the end of the year 2018. The album Labor of Love features original comositions by Gabric as well as arrangements by composer Alexander Liebermann.
