Natalie Hamilton

Natalie Hamilton is a singer/songwriter/producer praised as "Evocative" with a "Stunning Voice" by Ink 19 Magazine and “Marvelous, Feminine and Tough" by Rolling Stone and SPIN Magazine music journalist Thom Jurek.

Her compositions "meld the sophistication of jazz with the timeless intimacy of folk." (Ink 19 Magazine)

Sandy Cooperman of The Daily Sun said "she is able to say more with humming than most singers can say with words... reminiscent of a young Barbra Streisand."  Derek Sivers, the founder of CD Baby, upon hearing Natalie's debut album, said: "I love Natalie's narrative, lyrical style, like Joni Mitchell's 'The Hissing Of Summer Lawns."

In September 2023 - Natalie's  EP "Perfect Love" was released - featuring 4 new tracks exploring true love and deeper faith. The music was recorded at Power Station New England in late 2022 and early 2023. The EP features Matt Beck on guitars and Hammond B3, Mike Nunno on bass and Thierry Arpino on drums and percussion.

Natalie's single "Show You My Love" and her full length album "Songs For Sorrow" are also available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

In July 2021, Natalie Hamilton, and her song "Show You My Love" were included in The Essential Western New England Songbook as "one of the best songs ever written by an artist from the New England area."

In September 2022, Hamilton produced the show "Back In Time: 100 Years of Women In Music" and performed it for two nights at the Legacy Theatre in Connecticut. A new live album  "Natalie Hamilton & Friends - Live at the Legacy Theatre" was recorded in the process, to be released in late 2023. The album features Dan Lipton on piano/synth, Michael Stark on guitar, Tabreeca Woodside as background and featured vocalist, Ike Sturm on bass and Thierry Arpino on drums.

In addition to live performances, Hamilton regularly livestreams to her loyal followers on Twitch.TV and Youtube, and her music has many times been a special feature on the syndicated sports talk show "The Tony Kornheiser Show", after Tony took a liking to her voice and music.

"I have listened to all of (Natalie Hamilton's) available music. I do not say this very often, but I was deeply moved by what I heard. The songs themselves were direct, seemingly written and sung without artifice. (She) could have simply sung them with a ukulele with that glorious voice, and hit anyone who heard them in the gut. That said, when paired with such high production values, the entirety of it is a sensual and spiritual encounter as well as poetic experience - one that is immediate, and, as the late poet Ted Berrigan once wrote: 'Marvelous, feminine, and tough'." - Thom Jurek - Staff/Contributing Writer for — ROLLING STONE — SPIN — AMERICAN SONGWRITER — PASTE MAGAZINE — INTERVIEW ALL MUSIC GUIDE.
