Piotr Rucinski

PIOTR RUCIŃSKI – the guitarist, composer and arranger, presents on his album Let’s Play a Blues a number of compositions from different periods of his musical activity. "Hotel Grand" and "Wielkie koło" were composed at the beginning of 1980s and first recorded together with Elżbieta Mielczarek, Jan Skrzek and Piotr A. Majewski in legendary Aquarium jazz club in Warsaw. "Pięć czwartych" and "Ostatnia knajpa zamknięta" are two examples of several pieces written together with Waldemar Baryło between 2002 and 2008 as part of the Kadabra band. "One note blues" and "Solo na dnie" are the latest compositions of Piotr Ruciński. The album also includes traditional "Deep River Blues" and two compositions of Jerzy Wasowski: "Śmierć ptaka" and "Kaziu zakochaj się" in blues style arrangements of Piotr Ruciński.
