Randi Cee

Randi’s Longer Bio

Randi Cee (Randi Cee Pareira and yes the Cee is her real middle name) Is a Los Angeles based performer. According to her mother she started dancing and singing upon arrival. But according to Randi Cee: “MGM musicals perfectly ruined me, who wouldn’t want to live their life singing dancing and acting?” After completion of a BA in theatre from UCLA., her love for classical theatre took her to England to study Chekhov and Shakespeare. Upon returning to the states she was cast in Steven Spielberg’s Hook. For this role she was required to be a triple threat, getting to sing with John Williams as her conductor, was an amazing experience. She has danced and acted in countless projects reaching across Film/Television/Commercials and Industrials, including Feature Films: Legally Blonde,The Man That Wasn’t There (Coen Brothers), The Wedding Planner, Hook, TV: Glee, Mike and Molly, How I Met Your Mother, The New Normal, The Neighbors, Raising Hope. Awards Show: The Oscars and The Soul Train Awards. Her performing work has taken her to Lithuania, Italy, and Japan, even dancing one year on the Oscars, (on her birthday). She has appeared twice on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. To see her interact with Jay visit RandiPareira.com. Randi’s passion for traditional jazz and big band music was first ignited by her Nana. And then later when she was taken to the Jazz Festival in Los Angeles by her mother. There she fell in love with an even early form of the music. The movie musicals of the 30 and 40’s planted the seeds for this career and the composers that dominated those musicals were now coming to life for her in a whole new way. She longed to be the one singing those stories. Those bluesy soulful inspirations of the past like Bessie Smith and Sophie Tucker ignited her passion even further. The desire to have her own band and sing these songs is a dream come true For Randi Cee. The stories are just as pertinent now as when they were written.
