Steve Gallatin
At just 25 years old, Florida native Steve Gallatin has already made a name for himself as a highly accomplished guitarist in all styles of music. The album “Solo Guitar” demonstrates his complete mastery of the instrument as well as his rare ability to perform unaccompanied. Recently, Steve has just finished working as a house musician for Norwegian Cruise Lines while traveling throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. Steve has performed at high profile venues like The House of Blues Orlando, Janus Landing Tampa, St. Pete Times Forum, The Norva Norfolk, SunFest, and The Freebird Live Jacksonville. In 2009 he won second place at the Gamble Rogers National Fingerstyle Guitar Competition. As a student of the University of North Florida’s highly acclaimed jazz program, Steve studied with virtuoso jazz guitarist Barry Greene and had the opportunity to learn from jazz greats like Bunky Green, Russell Malone, Mike Stern, Lionel Lueke, Benny Green, Terence Blanchard, Mulgrew Miller, Kenny Garrett, Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten, Dave Weckle, Danny Gotlieb, Tom Kennedy, Poncho Sanchez, Kurt Elling, and Diane Schuur. Steve currently lives in Manhattan, New York where he performs and teaches privately when not working on writing and producing his highly anticipated 2nd album.
